Nearly a hundred years later, Malibu beach, California would take on the film industry, serving as locations for the filming of the camp sites in M*A*S*H, Elvis movie scenes, Love American Style and Mod Squad series, as well as the final beach scene for Joan Crawford to drag her dead sister Bette Davis, in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Now, the Malibu, California locals will tell you, besides being the setting for the home of Charlie and Alan Harper (Sheen and Cryer) in Two and a Half Men, for MTV Beach House, for The Big Lebowski, and for Zoey 101…filming is joined by many other endeavors and efforts, and continues to be renowned for its being home to and/or birthplace of such popular celebrities as Timothy Hutton (Taps, The Falcon and the Snowman, Zelda); Drew Barrymore; Jeremy Piven (Ellen, Very Bad Things, Entourage); Mel Gibson (Mad Max, of course, and Passion of the Christ); and Britney Spears.
